Vesak is an important Buddhist festival celebrated in May to commemorate the birth, enlightenment, and death of Buddha. Throughout Sri Lanka, cities and towns are adorned with colorful lanterns and decorations. The festival features vibrant street processions, devotional music, and traditional rituals. Visitors can witness the rich cultural heritage of Sri Lanka while enjoying delicious vegetarian food offered at community stalls, making it a unique experience of spirituality and cultural celebration.
