Held in March, the Valencia Fallas Festival is a vibrant celebration honoring Saint Joseph, the patron saint of carpenters. The festival features gigantic sculptures made of papier-mâché, which are paraded through the streets and later burned in a spectacular display of fire and fireworks. Festivities include traditional music, dances, and fireworks throughout the week. The festival culminates on March 19th with the grand burning of the fallas, symbolizing rebirth and renewal. This colorful and artistic event attracts thousands of visitors who experience Valencias rich cultural traditions.
