This was such a fun project to do during quarantine. I read some reviews for pointers before starting, especially regarding the canvas. First, you have to carefully use an iron to get the folds out of the canvas. Place it upside down and place a thin towel on top to iron so you don’t burn the canvas. I used the steam setting. It’s a nice quality canvas, nice and thick. Once the folds are gone, it makes painting much easier.
At first I was very intimidated by the numbered canvas. Some of the areas to paint are so small. Once I got started though it soon became completely absorbing and the size of the areas did not seem to be any issue. I haven't completed the whole painting yet, it is time consuming, but I love how it looks so far. I have had a great time working on the painting.
Omg - I just wanted something fun and care free to paint with numbers so I didn’t have to think about colors. Yes- mindless. But when I opened this- I was. Little overwhelmed, spaces were small, numbers are hard to read. But I will manage! It will be fun!
My mom loved painting this picture. There is a lot of detail to it, i’m Sure it would be okay for teenaged kids, but a little more challenging for young kids.
I actually completed this project over the course of a couple of weeks. I love the bold colors and interesting design. I will buy a frame for it because I’ll enjoy looking at it on my wall.
