Inti Raymi, or the Festival of the Sun, is an ancient Inca festival celebrated in Cusco, Peru, on June 24th. This vibrant event honors the sun god Inti and marks the winter solstice. The festival features colorful parades, traditional music, dance performances, and rituals that reenact Inca history. Attendees can witness the grand procession at Sacsayhuamán, where the Inca emperor pays homage to the sun. Inti Raymi offers a unique opportunity to immerse in Peruvian culture and history amidst the breathtaking Andean scenery.
