Chuseok, often referred to as Korean Thanksgiving, is a major harvest festival celebrated in South Korea during the fall season, typically in late September or early October. This three-day holiday is dedicated to honoring ancestors and celebrating the harvest with family gatherings, traditional foods, and games. Families prepare a special feast, including songpyeon (rice cakes), fruits, and various side dishes. Chuseok provides a meaningful opportunity to experience Korean culture and traditions, offering visitors a glimpse into the heart of Korean family values and culinary delights.
