The Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb Sweeping Day, takes place in early April in China. It is a traditional Chinese festival where families pay respect to their ancestors by visiting their graves, cleaning tombstones, and making offerings. While somber in nature, it is also a time to enjoy the outdoors, as families often picnic and fly kites in the spring sunshine. The festival provides a rich cultural experience, showcasing traditions of remembrance and renewal that are significant to Chinese heritage.
