Situated in the heart of Prague’s Old Town Square, the Prague Astronomical Clock, or Orloj, is a marvel of medieval engineering and artistry. Installed in 1410, it’s the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and still operational. Visitors gather every hour to witness its animated show, featuring a procession of Apostles and other figurines. Surrounding the clock, a vibrant square offers cafes and historic architecture. The clock is best seen in the afternoon light when its intricate details are highlighted, making it a favorite for history and architecture enthusiasts.
