Hogueras de San Juan, or the Bonfires of Saint John, is a fiery festival celebrated in Alicante from June 20th to 24th. It marks the summer solstice with vibrant bonfires, fireworks, and elaborate sculptures made of wood and cardboard, which are ceremoniously burned on the final night. The city comes alive with parades, music, and traditional dance. Its a dazzling celebration that combines art, fire, and community spirit, offering visitors a lively start to summer.
