The Flower Festival in Medellín, held in the first week of August, is a spectacular celebration of Colombias rich floral heritage and cultural diversity. The highlight is the Silleteros Parade, where farmers, known as silleteros, carry enormous floral displays on their backs, showcasing stunning arrangements that reflect the natural beauty of the region. Alongside the parade, the festival includes live music, dancing, and other cultural exhibitions, making it a colorful and festive atmosphere that attracts both locals and tourists. With various activities and competitions, this festival truly captures the vibrant spirit of Colombia.
